About Us
The Helping Angels’ Ministries Church of God is a non-denominational Christian ministry dedicated to preaching the pure word of God as it is inspired by Hebrew 1:14; Are Angels not ministering Spirits sent forth to minister serve those who will inherit salvation? We totally believe in the bible and our ministries are motivated by God’s love, and our mandate is rooted in the great commission of Matthew 28:18-20. And Jesus spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and behold, I am always with you even till the end of the world. Members are encouraged to have faith and to put total trust in God.
Our Status
The Helping Angels Ministries Church of God is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization, duly registered in the State of New Jersey and acknowledged by the United States government.

Missionary & Mission Partnership
Our mission is to educate and send missionary workers worldwide to win souls for Jesus Christ while providing humanitarian aid. Helping Angels Ministries is devoted to sharing the gospel, uplifting communities, and shaping lives to reflect Christ. We celebrate our long-term missionaries who faithfully serve, including those at 950 Bergen St, Newark, New Jersey. Please keep them in your prayers as they engage in evangelism and discipleship. Pastors' Training and Ordination
We praise the Lord for the Pastors' Training and Initiative, led by Rev. Justice R.O. Akenami, which seeks to engage faithful men and women in a season of theological education and pastoral development. Mark your calendars: an ordination service to commission the graduates will be held in the main sanctuary. Please attend and support them with your prayers.
Opportunities for Missionary Interns and Trainees
Looking to get involved? The Helping Angels Ministries Internship Program offers a structured opportunity for individuals, students, or young adults to gain hands-on ministry experience while deepening their faith. Internships take place at our church or partner Christian organizations with a shared mission. The program focuses on spiritual growth, leadership development, and community outreach. Interns also receive mentorship from experienced Christian leaders to guide their personal and ministerial journey.
Religious Workers Visa Support
For those embarking on overseas ministry, whether returning or new missionaries, our church provides coordinated visa support. This includes assistance with document preparation, sponsorship letters, and legal guidance to facilitate the religious worker visa process.
How You Can Help
Pray for our missionaries, interns, pastoral candidates, and church leadership. Partner financially with ongoing church and missionary initiatives. Volunteer to mentor interns or assist with weekly church responsibilities. Invite friends and family to attend our ordination services and future training cohorts. We are stronger together when we serve, train, commit, and support one another in Christ’s name.
